@codemonkeymike I agree this used to be a terrible UX. but I recently reset a Mac running on macOS 26 and was surprised how clear it was about which button to click. Although I can’t remember the exact wording, there was a description along the lines of „if you are keeping this click here, if you are planning to sell or donate this click here instead“. So obviously Apple is learning and improving.
