I have so many #Steam games that I have never played. I decided to start a new (to me) one up. I spent over 8 hours in #Subnautica and barely noticed the time go by. I could spend another 8 hours in the game if I didn't have to work in the morning.I was worried playing first-person would trigger motion sickness, but I've been fine so far.At first the game seemed too difficult. I thought I wouldn't be able to complete certain objectives in time.. but it turns out the timer that had me worried is just there as a motivator, and all life in the sea won't die if I don't do the thing within 24 hours. So I really started enjoying myself once I realized I wasn't doomed to fail. I have a nice little base going and have been exploring the area to unlock blueprints and collect materials.Inventory management isn't bad. I'm glad storage is cheap to build.I especially like that it isn't a combat-focused game. While you do collect fish for food, you're not fighting off the bigger threats - you just run away. I also have Below Zero, which I'll try out once I get through the main game. And then I'll check out Subnautica 2. #Games #Gaming #Gamer
