@yngmar @simon_brooke I have thought about building a small skeletal trailer to hold a winch.The winch would be forward on the trailer, but just behind the axle would be a fold down ground anchor, as would be found on the back of a timber winch tractor.The anchor can be dropped and reversed into the ground. The towing vehicle can then act as counter weight to hold down the front of the trailer while the winch is pulling.Something like the anchor on this blue tractor, but towed on a set of trailer wheels.
