Now what was really big in the news was the "Spendenaffäre" which was basicly a bunch of illegal donations where the former chancellor didn't want to name any named cause they gave him the money without wanting to be named. But even that was topped by the IPO of the Telekom stock which was dubbed "Die Volksaktzie" and there are still lawsuits going on because of it.
