    @anatudor Yes, it's always interesting in spring to see the "It's lilac season!" photos from different places appear in the feed, starting before my lilac even has leaves let alone flowers.These are pretty much on schedule this year. They had seemed to be behind after the cold April, but then the heatwave last week got them popping. Even within the neighbourhood, there's usually a bit of a staggered start with some lilac bushes flowering earlier than others (because of variety or location), but this year they all seemed to open within a couple days of each other.I'm just glad they were still fresh enough that the rain didn't completely destroy them; mine seem to be looking a little perkier this morning.
