    @plazi_species While all lizards "look the same to me" I'll swear I was looking at one of these yesterday on my verandah in the sun. It was perhaps 30cm nose to tip, had the black/dark stripe in the same place, and its back was fully lit in gold sheen. Beautiful creature. Still, here in Australia there are so many varieties, though we are a sea port so could be an intruder. Also fairly certain the wall-climbing house skinks are foreigners, as they fit the description.
