    My friend is selling a 1955 Selmer Mark VI saxophone is absolutely fantastic condition. If you know horns...this one is very rare. Very low serial number.

    She bought it almost 30 years ago and has taken very good care of it. Just look at this beauty...

    This video is from a dealer in the Monterey, Calif., area that she is working with but my understanding is the deal hasn't closed yet, so...sell your house to buy this horn!

      I guess there are collectors who will buy horns like this just to display them...I know she wants to find a buyer who will play it but there probably aren't many potential buyers out there.

        @brianvastag the alto sax I learned on was about 30 years old when my parents got it for me in 1984. It still plays fairly well and is an unusual model - bottom pads are on the opposite side of the bell.

        I don’t think I’d sell it but I wonder if it’s worth anything.
