First proper teaching day of the season was a fun one! Two chamber music lessons, one with a recorder student and her pianist friend, the other with recorder and harpsichord. Both lessons went over time because the teacher got so enthousiastic, ahem. The other lessons went well, too. And I managed to practise both singing (Mahler, Wie had das liedlein erdacht?, much too difficult but good practise) and dulcian between students. Plan for this winter is to mostly focus on singing but rotate the reed instruments so that I’m always working on one of them. #recorder #bassoon #music #singing
