@teledyn sorry (not sorry) for jumping in, but you didn't provide an answer at all. What you did was to chastise OP for asking for an app, and 'splaining that the requirements would be fulfilled by listening to songs and mimicking them -- which they aren't, as a dedicated teaching app/site will provide _which_ intervals, chords etc are used, something most people won't know just by listening to a record even when they can mimic the playing. So just don't be obnoxious to strangers.

I'm crushed to hear the Nashville Symphony is suspending its season. This sounds like an abject failure of fundraising by the board. With all the money at the top of our economy, why are we putting highly-skilled symphony musicians out of work? https://www.nashvillesymphony.org/22879#music #orchestra #arts #nashvillesymphony

Solo part was fine, in fact whole concert went pretty well! Good size audience.

One thing they don't tell you about rehearsing community band is that "four bars after A" could mean two different bars depending on whether you consider A the bar itself. Is it the "A" bar, and then four bars after it? Is it just the marking and then four bars after the rehearsal mark itself? I've caught myself a bunch making this mistake. I now opt for "fourth bar of A", which is unambiguous. Even musicians get caught off guard by off-by-one errors.

@rcr There’s quite a lot of pressure/compression involved in getting up there...

At the Erz Toy Museum 🧸🪀I managed to take a photo of the rabbit and angel orchestra where they look like they're truly alive! 　#museum #toy #erz #karuizawa #orchestra

Good night, fedi friends. Trumpeter Sings the National Anthem After His Instrument Malfunctions Mid-Performance ️ Dr. Jesse McGuire's trumpet had a malfunction midway through his national anthem performance before the Arizona Diamondbacks vs. New York Yankees game, so he improvised and sang the rest of the anthem.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JCWznhqnLjc#Music #Trumpet #JesseMcGuire #Diamondbacks #MLB #Baseball #Improvisation

@shawnhooper #alt4You stage in a metal barn with a soundboard and two turntables and a laptop next to metal stairs which lead up to the stage, someone is sitting in the background on partially set up stage

Hey all, I'm looking for anime music that can be played on the ocarina (in a pinch, flute music will work)! Do any of you wonderful people know where such might be found? #anime #ocarina #flute

Three new recorder students today. After all these years teaching I still get nervous about new students! But they are all lovely people and the lessons were fine. In a funny coincidence, one is starting on soprano, one on alto and one on tenor recorder. #recorder #music #earlymusic

@keefeglise Eww! Two reeds? Do you know how soggy they get if you're not at the top of your game? Nah, I'd prefer a clarinet I submit this for your perusal...https://youtu.be/YT_63UntRJE

@rcbo@mastodon.social oh this is so cool! I'm nowhere near Austin but I'd love to do something like this someday. Are there recordings of prior shows?

John Williams is easily the most important composer of the 20th and 21st centuries (so far). It’s hard to imagine someone eclipsing him for a long, long time. He’s our Mozart. Our Beethoven. A genius. His music is indelible.#Music #Composing #Orchestra https://youtu.be/2GJ8r0FwdcE

Honestly, a somewhat worrying way to start an evening sight reading for an amateur horn player. #transposition #FrenchHorn

@bazkie Yeah, now that I've become calm and mentally well, I have learned to think like a detective, to gather evidence carefully. As such, I can see it all too well now. And, yes, dealing with all this stuff is inhumane.Always, guitar, and hugs in return

The only Rozhdestvensky’s live recording of Shostakovich’s Fifth symphony I know: Bucarest 1961!https://yxo.be/Jp8UT#classicalmusic #shostakovich #orchestra
