The best thing added in #TinaTurner's iconic cover of "The Best" is that gloriously cheesy sax solo. It's what I miss when I listen to the #BonnieTyler version. Sunday, I caught the #VASymphony matinee featuring the Samuel Barber 1st Violin Concherto followed by Elgar’s Enigma Variations, two current era orchestral works. A young violin slinger came in to play the featured part of the Barber. Foxy lady Grace Park swung a mean axe. And the band kept up. Excellent #Orchestra #LiveShow of #CurrentEra music

"Jazzman" is a 1974 song performed by #CaroleKing, from her album #WrapAroundJoy. King composed the music for the song, while #DavidPalmer (formerly of #SteelyDan) wrote the lyrics.
