Sunday, I caught the #VASymphony matinee featuring the Samuel Barber 1st Violin Concherto followed by Elgar’s Enigma Variations, two current era orchestral works. A young violin slinger came in to play the featured part of the Barber. Foxy lady Grace Park swung a mean axe. And the band kept up. Excellent #Orchestra #LiveShow of #CurrentEra music
