@fubsepude
How do the neighbours feel about it ? -
@fubsepude
'bone player here. Well, I'm not really a player, but I have one and want to learn. I've started to learn music to help. -
-
@fubsepude does euphonium count?
@Karstan Yeah it does.

How do the neighbours feel about it ?@Schubertsworld Fortunately they don't seem to mind at all, but I do have practice mutes just in case.
Also my current instruments are all plastic, so they're nowhere near as loud as actual brass ones.
Current setup is a PBone mini trombone, PCornet, and PTrumpet made by the PBone music brand. -
@fubsepude This has to be the social network for trumpeters. #brasstodon

@fubsepude Former trumpet and French horn, here! I always just borrowed instruments from the school, but I own my mouthpiece in hopes of playing again one day.
-
@fubsepude Former French horn player here! I haven't played in a long time but I still have dreams where I'm playing it, reading music, and getting the fingers right. In my dreams I'm always complaining about the state of my embouchure, too!
I'm delighted for you that you're picking your instruments back up! What inspired you to do it now?

@foxylad @fubsepude You're brilliant. I've now followed the #brasstodon hashtag.

@ShaulaEvans @fubsepude Thanks, but it's the cold meds rather than any intelligence.

Hi
French horn practicer here. Trying to practice more so I can play more fluently like I can on flute etc but still very much a beginner.
-
@fubsepude Trombone player here. Really just getting back into it, joined the community band this last season.
-
@fubsepude Euphonium, but I haven't touched it in nearly four decades.
-
@fubsepude used to play trombone through school but itโs been a long time. Hard to find time to practice when itโs been so long and youโve acquired
so many other hobbies. Happy to hear you started playing again, hope you have a good time with it! -
@fubsepude yes! Trumpet and flugelhorn
-
@fubsepude
I was a trombone player in the 20th century, hope to be one again sometime. -
