@brian It’s a real oddity, one of those things that seems to be greatly desirable entirely because of scarcity rather than actually being terribly good. But most accounts they’re a bit harsh.

@brian I sometimes dream of stumbling upon one of those old white plastic Grafton alto saxophones - the kind that Ornette played on Shape of Jazz to Come - in a local charity shop
