Does anyone have expertise with midi controllers and audio output? My understanding is that this is a midi controller, and we need something like an iPad+Mainstage to output sounds. It looks like I need to also buy something called a USB Audio Interface to link it together into a signal for the amp? Something like the MOTU M2 or similar? Do I actually need this or can the iPad handle everything? Five Mellow Winds, by David Schanke For sax quintet and concert band! It's up there in the upper register, so there's quite a bit of attention that needs to be paid intonation-wise.
