I finished this season of For All Mankind and the Titan mission was giving me flashbacks to the #scif book Titan by Stephen Baxter I read last year. Of course the book was long and the show was short so there were bits and pieces only, but especially the fate of Kelly. What is one routine you locked in before you ever tried to make it better?

#Bookstodon -- I am trying to remember an author who wrote predominantly short stories. I am 99% sure he was Jewish. Pretty sure Eastern European but more iffy there. Mid-century 20th c. His stories were very surreal, where dreamscapes and reality blur and shift together. Super strong Kafka vibes. I think his life came to a tragic end but I don't remember the details.I read a volume of his stories a few years ago. His name is on the tip of my tongue and I cannot crack it, and I can't seem to find it in old posts or in my private notes.Any ideas?
