A few, ok many moons ago me and the lass rented mountain bikes and took the ski lift up this slope and gingerly rode down. At one particular steep bit we stopped to reevaluate our life choices as we were overtaken by a young lad. Let's just say that he "dropped by" us, his tyres barely touched the ground as he flew past, pretty much only on the hairpins. Don't think he had ever been introduced to brakes. Lovely day out for it, just cold enough for Paddy boy if we took it easy and he got to dip in the various melt water streams.
