Got the MalletStation hooked up
Marimba, Xylophone, Vibraphone, and Tubular Bells all a single button-press away! Who says you need to blow 60 grand to play proper mallet parts?
Excuse the musician's desk

@teadrinker@aus.social the power of music!
@jennylam@mastodon.art I've never heard of this orchestra before, the concept sounds cool!
There's a definite overlap in physicians and musical ability!
@poetaster@mastodon.gamedev.place hahah never apologize for saxophone
Hey, thanks for sharing that. Killer Tango sounds really cool!
@roundsparrow@autistics.life oooh, thanks for sharing this. I love this song, and it's an excellent cover!
@braydenwise@mastodon.sdf.org congratulations!
I'm hoping to do something similar myself, but it's hard to commit with young children at home
@braydenwise@mastodon.sdf.org great tips, thanks!
Does anyone have expertise with midi controllers and audio output? My understanding is that this is a midi controller, and we need something like an iPad+Mainstage to output sounds.
It looks like I need to also buy something called a USB Audio Interface to link it together into a signal for the amp? Something like the MOTU M2 or similar? Do I actually need this or can the iPad handle everything?

@brianvastag@mas.to ask her to post on the Sax on the Web forum? I'm sure it's still kickin' around and some of the folks there may be interested.
@proseandpassion@mastodon.social nice! Best of luck!
@carliermusic@musicians.today very cool
I had a blast last time my uni band held an alumni concert (McMaster, out east in Hamilton, Ontario)
Says here there are some premieres too. Do you know which pieces they are (Meechan and Stetner)?
@sgcrawford@dice.camp congratulations! Nice to see other music directors on fedi
@washingtonwindsymphony@mastodon.social ha! I was wondering how soon I'd see KPop on a wind band concert set list.
How is the arrangement? Do the players like it?
Hello from Canada
@duchessofsnork@musicians.today pics pics pics pics!
@rye@ioc.exchange improvs over a backing track?
Typically it's gonna be pop music covers on sax though, eh.
@carliermusic@musicians.today this is wild.
I had no idea band teachers floating between multiple schools were even a thing. It sounds like something right up my alley if the conditions weren't so terrible!
Caught a snippet of Q with Tom Power on the radio just now.
