@KatyElphinstone The difference here is not that we always say what we mean, and certainly not that we say everything we think. It’s that if you have said something, it’s fair game to treat you as if you meant it. (So choose your words accordingly.) It throws me off when people get offended when I act as if they meant what they said. Even if I know they didn’t, to me it’s disrespectful to do otherwise.

@hmm_cook I felt no point in causing my guns to swell painfully for over an hour it hurt... and I got in trouble sometimes for being grumpy... the task and following pain stole some spoons.when I left the nest, I stopped brusing, because the reward/punishment dealt to me by my parents no longer existed.My adult found out from dentist is my mom didnt massage my teeth when my baby self was teething. I have some toxic things on my gums, and one week of warm cloth massage cured it.

Day 940 , Monday 25/05/2026Managed a lie in this morning, it being a public holiday.It has been stupidly hot here in deepest, darkest Yorkshire with temps hitting 32ºC in the shade in the east facing back garden this afternoon! A mostly quiet day but we did do some measuring up in the box room for fitting a new desk & shelving in once the decorators have been next week & the carpet we chose on Saturday is fitted. Mrs S is very excited! Had a naughty fired chicken takeaway - I tried a new item on their menu - garlic seasoned Chicken ‘strips’ which turned out to be massive, & tasty! Rewatched ‘Grey Man’ with Ryan Gosling, a throughly enjoyable turn your brain off romp.Final Thoughts.Not a bad day at all but I wonder if I will be able to get any sleep tonight! Thank you to all those who are helping me on this journey, in a myriad different ways.
