Yesterday workout, vo2 max intervals. Started off with 20 minutes easy pace and a few strides to warm up then 4x5 minutes with 4 minutes rest and finishing the session with a 10 minute cool down jog #running #intervals #polarrunning #runnersofmastodon

A beautiful but steamy run to kick off the day, around Brighton racecourse and back across Sheepcote Valley. The ground is parched everywhere except for the race track, which is lush because they are spraying a lot of water. ‘Drought—what drought?’ say the racecourse owners ‍️ The Wilderness is alive with #butterflies and grasshoppers. I always thought that butterflies flapped their wings quickly, but I’m seeing a lot of lazy glides at the moment, which is surprising and fascinating. #running

Back home from holiday. #Running this morning. Way too hot out there for me. Got 5 miles done. Three weeks out from a half marathon and have no idea what sort of shape I am in. The weather makes everything so tough I have no sense of how I am doing.

12K Evening runThat water machine almost got me. I had to pause and wait for it to change direction . I got the dust rain shower anyways as it was all over the air around it . 30K Run with 26K Progressive RunFollowed the 26K Progressive long run from my Runna plan - with an additional 4K for getting home and also hit the 30K (nice number ). It was tough towards the end. 22K Running over 2 runs todayIn the morning I had a tempo workout: “Rolling 400s | 8 x (400m faster + 400m cruising)” . The first 400 meters were sub 4 min/km pace and the other 400 were around 4:40 - and then just on 8 times continuous repeat . It was a good session that went by quickly.In the evening an easy run. Though I still have to be mindful of my knee, I participated in the local parkrun this morning.It was fun as always, but it was also sort of weird to not give it full beans. I had planned on doing it around 5:00/km, but the old racehorse got a bit too excited, I guess, and the pace ended up being 4:46/km Time to let the knee have a well deserved rest for a couple of days #MastoRunDK #running #parkrun

@sebastianhahn Trust me, they are usually more scared of you. It is actually a lucky encounter, as they usually disappear before you see it. But if you encounter one, just respect it's space and you will be good. They only attack if you give them a reason. However, I do understand your phobia, which you share with so many.
